Naughty Dog wants Uncharted 3 to be “go to game for PS3 multiplayer”

Naughy Dog wants upcoming sequel Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception to be the “go to game for PS3 multiplayer,” according to the latest issue of GamePro.

The developers acknowledged that Uncharted 2‘s multiplayer could’ve been much better, but that there was so little time to develop it.

For Uncharted 3, Naughty Dog’s drawn inspiration from the multiplayer components of hits such as Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption.

After completing lab tests for Uncharted 2‘s multiplayer, Naughty Dog told the mag that one thing they learned from Uncharted 2‘s multiplayer component was that damage and health aspects should be “the same or similar to single player.”
