Is Sony Santa Monica developing a shooter?

Sony Computer Entertainment’s Santa Monica Studio may have more than only a rumored God of War 4 in the works. New job listings from the studio discovered today seek individuals experienced in developing first and third-person shooters..

Unlike past job listings from the studio — which searched for applicants experienced in puzzle-platforming and online programming — today’s new listings do not say “Join the God of War team”, suggesting that this team is separate from that developing Sony’s critically-acclaimed franchise.

In addition to experience with shooters, the job listing requests applicants to be experienced in vehicle combat, open-world development, and character and boss design.

Could a new IP be on the way from Santa Monica? That would make three for Sony.
