Tales of Xillia party member Elise revealed
The latest issue of Weekly Jump’s announced a new female character for Tales of Xillia, this time designed by Kosuke Fujishima. For those keeping track, so far both the two revealed male characters have been designed by Fujishima and the two females by Mutsumi Inomata. It looks like they’re finally crossing sexes.
Elise Lutas is the next character to join Xillia‘s slowly growing cast. Well, her… and her talking teddy bear Tippo. Elise is voiced by Yuki Horinaka. Tippo is voiced by Haruna Ikezawa.
Protagonists Jude and Milla first encounter Elise in a small village. She’s a master spirit wielder who isn’t too great with conversation, and particularly nervous about first encounters.
Tippo, her teddy bear, is always by Elise’s side. The bear is also Elise’s weapon in battle, biting enemies.
Also in Jump, a new gameplay system. The Partner Personalized Support System, as it’s called, pairs your player with another character and allows them to access special support skills dependent on the partner character.
If you partner with Jude for example, he’ll use Restore as you’re injured in battle to heal your HP. Milla, on the other hand, will use Bind, a skill that binds the enemy within a certain success rate. Dizzied enemies success rates are 100 percent.
Thanks, Andriasang.
