EA and Borne Games have announced today that one of the internet’s most popular flash games, The Fancy Pants Adventures, is coming to PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade in spring 2011.The game’s in development at Over The Top Games in partnership with Borne and EA 2D.
The Fancy Pants Adventures puts players in the shoes of a hand-drawn stick figured named Fancy Pants Man who’s on a mission to rescue his kidnapped sister, Cutie Pants. In doing so, he’ll be presented with a number of obstacles that he and his fancy pants and mohawk must face, forcing him to utilize all of his tricks and wield weapons in order to defeat “challenging” enemies.
“Fancy Pants is an incredible success story and we are excited to bring this high quality platform gameplay to a console audience,” said Mark Spenner, General Manager of EA 2D. “Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network are the perfect channels to deliver this type of accessible entertainment that will allow gamers to experience the fun and adrenaline of classic side-scrolling action.”
