One might be lead to believe. Recent images trademarked by Imageepoch for what we’re assuming is an upcoming rebranding (see logo above) point to the company’s involvement in the development of the upcoming Black Rock Shooter RPG announced back in August.
How, you ask?
The game’s teaser site is located at this URL: http://brs.jrpg.jp/. Let’s take away the ‘brs’ bit and point our browsers to http://jrpg.jp/.
Does that exclamation point look familiar? It’s the same exclamation point featured in Imageepoch’s new logo. For further proof, see the image below:
This is another of the logos trademarked by Imageepoch, this time containing the phrase ‘jrpg’ in it, which we presume stands for Japanese role-playing game.
Peculiar. Both the URL and Imageepoch’s new logo contain both the letters ‘jrpg’ and the exclamation point image within them. I think it’s safe to say Imageepoch is behind Black Rock Shooter, then.
Imageepoch is set to announce multiple new games this month — at least one of them being a high-definition outing. We’re not when they’re holding it, but we’ll let you know as soon as that information gets out.
