PlayStation Awards 2010 teaser site launches
Every year, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan holds hands out awards to the highest-selling titles released on PlayStation platforms in Japan. Dubbed the PlayStation Awards, SCEJ’s been recognizing these PlayStation titles since 1994 when the original PlayStation first launched. Over 200 titles have been commended since then.
The PlayStation launched in Japan on December 3, 1994. Every year on December 3, Sony announces the PlayStation Awards winners for that year. Last year, Monster Hunter Portable 2G took home the Platinum Prize of over a million units sold. Dissidia: Final Fantasy took the Gold with over half a million.
The countdown for this year’s awards have begun and are being teased through the opening of a new teaser site. Who will take Platinum? Watch those charts, folks.
