Xbox LIVE Arcade’s ‘The Game Feast’ headlines Hydrophobia, Super Meat Boy debuts

With Xbox LIVE Arcade’s ‘Summer of Arcade’ promotion over, Microsoft’s kick-started the next. Xbox LIVE Arcade’s ‘The Game Feast’ sees the launch of several highly-anticipated Xbox LIVE Arcade titles, including Dark Energy Digital’s Hydrophobia and Team Meat’s Super Meat Boy.

The full list of games and their launch dates can be found below:

  • September 29: “Hydrophobia” (Dark Energy Digital Ltd/Microsoft Game Studios) – 1200 Microsoft Points
  • October 6: “Comic Jumper” (Twisted Pixel Games/Microsoft Game Studios) – 1200 Microsoft Points
  • October 13: “Pinball FX 2” (ZEN Studios/Microsoft Game Studios) – Tables purchased individually, free import from original “Pinball FX”
  • October 20: “Super Meat Boy” (Team Meat/Microsoft Game Studios) – Pricing TBD

Alongside this announcement, Microsoft’s announced that the few days following Halo: Reach‘s launch on Xbox 360, Xbox LIVE Silver members can enjoy the online multiplayer advantages of Xbox LIVE Gold Members. This will run from September 17 (12:00 pm ET / 9:00 am PT) through September 20 (12:00 pm ET / 9:00 am PT). It wasn’t exactly stated as to whether or not this would be exclusive to Halo: Reach or not, though. Try playing a different game online those few days and let us know.
