Microsoft kicks off Halo: Reach “Monument of Light” campaign

With Halo: Reach launching in just about three weeks’ time, Microsoft’s kicked off their ‘monument of light’ campaign. Visitors to can contribute a point of light that will help form a “dramatic” monument to the game. Alongside formation of the monument, Microsoft will also release three live-action short films directed by five-time nominee and 2005 winner of the Director’s Guild of America’s Director of the Year award, Noam Murro.

These shorts are meant to show off what life was like on Reach before it was devastated in the war against the Covenant.

The first live-action short film can be found below. Halo: Reach launches exclusively on Xbox 360 on September 14.
