Valve is “sure down the road” it’ll develop for PS3
Valve has been known to share their dislike for Sony’s PlayStation 3. They’ve not developed for it, yet, with the only Valve game on PS3 being The Orange Box, ported by Electronic Arts.
However, a change of heart looks to be in the coming future, as Valve’s Chet Faliszek says he’s sure the developer will eventually get on PlayStation 3.
“Before we do anything on the PS3 we need to be able to support it in the right way,” explained Faliszek. “But we’ll look at it, and I’m sure down the road we’ll do it.”
Previously, Valve has said that they don’t want to develop for PS3 because they don’t have the proper knowledge and do not want to offer another Orange Box for PS3 owners, which was a very dumbed-down port.
