343 Industries developing “a new experience in the Halo universe”

343 Industries, Microsoft’s internal team for everything Halo are crafting “a new experience in the Halo universe”, if recent job listings are to be believed.

343 is hiring and are looking at “gathering an incredible team to help drive the future of Halo.”

Just this month, they’ve updated their official site with nineteen positions that they’re looking to hire. Many of them have to do with software development, artistry, environments and animation, which may suggest that 343 is at the early stages of their first Halo title — especially given the earlier quote.

They’ll be hiring at GDC next month too. If you’re a game developer and you’re going to be there, be on the lookout for them.
