Band of Bugs Getting Avatar Support
NinjaBee teased flame-tossing avatars last week. Today they bring the show as they announce Avatar support coming to their already released Band of Bugs on the Xbox LIVE Arcade.
On July 8th, Xbox LIVE members will be able to download a patch replacing the game’s single-player story mode character with their Avatars. As it’s been said with the fireballs, the Avatar will gain all the powers of Maal.Your story will change to fighting as the great human liberator, making the garden safe for insects.
The eight-player Spider Hunter mode will also have Avatar support, so you can fight against your friends.
NinjaBee has also announced the ‘Tales of Kaloki’ downloadable content. This will take Band of Bugs into space and will replace bugs with spaceships, lasers, and weaponry.
“We’re giving you an entirely new game,” said Steve Taylor, president of NinjaBee. “The Tales of Kaloki DLC is Band of Bugs but with long-range combat using lasers, rocket launchers, OO rays and a ton of other sweet weapons to blow attacking space ships to smithereens. It’s all the wackiness from Outpost Kaloki X and tactics from Band of Bugs rolled into one, and we’re stoked to be releasing it.”
The ‘Tales of Kaloki’ downloadable content will go for 240 Microsoft Points.
