Section 8 Gameplay Combines First-Person with Third

The first three gameplay videos of TimeGate and SouthPeak’s Section 8 got out tonight and besides the game being completely reminiscent of the Halo games, the game has it’s own way of approaching running in a first-person shooter. Instead of running while in first-person, the game’s camera shifts to third-person so you can see where you’re going better and have steadier control. While the feature may seem small, I think it’s a great idea and a nicely done approach from TimeGate.

Read on the check out the clips, they’re really worth the watch.
