Remedy CFO: Still at Work on Alan Wake, Development Struggles

It has been a while since Remedy Entertainment has spoken on their 2005 Xbox 360 and PC title, Alan Wake. At first, they released screenshots every now and then, but during the past year and a half or so, things have been very quiet.

Remedy CFO Mika Reini, however, assures us that the game is still in development by saying “yes, we’re still here and working hard on getting Alan Wake for you to enjoy.”

Reini also admitted to some struggles in development by saying “if everything had gone perfectly smoothly there probably would be a game out for you guys to play already. But designing a completely new game can be hard, and sometimes you need to take a detour to find the best route forward.”
