Duke Nukem 3D XBLA Screenshots and Details

ShackNews was able to get the first hands-on with the upcoming Xbox LIVE Arcade release of Duke Nukem 3D. The game will have new features as well as bonus content.

First off, there is a new replay feature which will save every second that you play the game allowing you to jump back to a different time when you die. When you die, a timeline will appear on the screen, and that is how you choose your time that you respawn from.

You’ll also be able to watch your saved gameplays from the main menu as well as jump back and play at any point on the timeline. You’ll be able to upload these saved gameplays and share them with your friends online. There is an entire section on the leaderboards devoted to time trials, where top spots have video as proof. That is pretty sweet.

The game will support Xbox LIVE multiplayer with up to eight players online in either cooperative or competitive modes. Matchmaking and custom matches will be supported with unranked or ranked options.

The game will be released on the Xbox LIVE Arcade this September with no pricing yet announced. Enjoy the screens. [GALLERY]
