Awakened by a three-headed crow in a lush and foreboding forest, Song in the Smoke Rekindled puts survival in the player’s hands as they make a spiritual journey through an otherworldly realm, harvesting and crafting in the wilds while fending off prehistoric beasts and the elements. Master the environment and use your wits to become the apex predator in this unforgiving land, engaging in unrestricted combat across a 15-plus hours single-player campaign. Based on art by famed illustrator Katsuya Terada (The Legend of Zelda, Blood: The Last Vampire, The Monkey King), Song in the Smoke Rekindled creates a primordial wilderness unlike any other.

The initial release of Song in the Smoke was released for Oculus Quest, PC, Pico, and PlayStation VR, where it won multiple awards and honors including PlayStation VR Game of the Year from UploadVR and PSVR Without Parole, along with multiple D.I.C.E. nominations.

The all-new Rekindled edition takes everything players loved about the original game and adds highly enhanced graphics, a new “Free Jump” navigation mode that allows players to seamlessly move through the environment, an eye-tracked clambering system that allows the player’s gaze to control where they climb, and a heavily tuned “Jake Mode” difficulty mode designed to provide the ultimate survival experience for advanced players. Players will also experience next-generation haptic feedback via the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers, feeling the action when they pull back a bow, move through foliage, or even put their head under a waterfall. The game runs at a smooth 90 frames per second, and takes advantage of eye-tracked foveated rendering to concentrate visual detail wherever the player is looking.

Players who purchased the original Song in the Smoke on PlayStation VR will have access to a free upgrade to the PlayStation VR2 version.
