To Search a Missing Sister From Distant Place. This is a “screenlife Suspense” Story and Feels Both Classic and Fresh.
With the full cooperation of mystery writer Takemaru Abiko, known for the novels The 8 Mansion Murders and Disease Leading to the Slaughter, as well as the mystery game Banshee’s Last Cry. The theme of this work is “armchair detective.” In this “screenlife suspense” mystery game—both classic and innovative—the protagonist (Nozomi), an older brother, works his way toward the heart of the case through the screen as he searches for his missing sister, Hikari Takizawa.
“…Eh… P…? …H-E-L-P?”
The protagonist, Nozomi, wakes up from a strange dream. Just as he is growing worried because he cannot get in touch with his sister, Hikari Takizawa, who attends a university in distant Nagano Prefecture. He comes across news that Seiji Minato, a college student attending the same university as Hikari, has been murdered. Tormented by an indescribable sense of unease, Nozomi decides to investigate the case online…
Searching While Experiencing the “Realistic Web Browsing” of the Internet
This is a mystery game where you conduct your investigation using the internet. Its key feature is using fictional online apps—such as the search engine “Glome” to search websites and the social media platform “Z” to explore relationships between people—to complete your investigation within the time limit.
You can find “Detective Words” (commonly known as “D-Words” in-game) collected while searching the web, and advance your deductions based on online information through repeated searching and browsing. The content of the websites and social media platforms featured in the game is based on real locations and TV programs in Nagano, allowing you to enjoy a “sense of realism” as if you were actually conducting your investigation online.
Will Nozomi be able to find her only sibling, Hikari Takizawa?
Uncover the hidden truth…
