Gameplay Updates

Quality-of-life gameplay improvements have been added, including vehicle reversing and the option to automatically reinforce units at your HQ structure, making for a smoother gameplay experience. The A.I. has been enhanced, providing a more dynamic and challenging experience, and a new Ruthless A.I. difficulty option provides the ultimate challenge for veteran players.

Fully upgraded to a 64-bit platform to support modern systems and compatible with a 20-year catalogue of community-created mods, Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition aims to bolster the ongoing efforts of the modding community and secure its legacy for years to come.

The HUD and screen layout has been adjusted for modern widescreen viewing, including widescreen and ultrawide displays, and the UI and controls have been modernized, including grid key support and custom hotkeys.

Three Full-Length Campaigns and Three Single-Player Stories

• Company of Heroes begins with the D-Day Invasion of Normandy as players lead squads of Allied soldiers into battle against the German war machine through some of the most pivotal battles of World War II.
• In the next chapter, Opposing Fronts, Players lead the tenacious British 2nd Army during the heroic World War II liberation of Caen, France, and command the German Panzer Elite as they struggle to repel the largest airborne invasion in history.

Tales of Valor includes three immersive storylines and allows players to experience World War II from all sides of the war.
