Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core launches in Early Access on May 20
Deep Rock Galactic roguelite spin-off dated.
Cooperative roguelite first-person shooter Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on May 20, Ghost Ship Publishing and developer Ghost Ship Games announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via Ghost Ship Publishing:
In Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, Hoxxes IV has experienced a near-total shutdown, leaving countless mine sites cut off from the outside world. To secure the mining facilities amidst this mysterious Grayout, the Deep Rock Galactic Mining Corporation is deploying the Reclaimers—its elite force of dwarven security personnel—on a mission to reinstate the dig sites.
Players will take on the role of Reclaimers, adopting one of five playable classes: Guardian, Spotter, Falconer, Slicer, and Retcon, each with their own unique strengths and abilities. Bringing a core roguelite loop to the world of Hoxxes IV, Reclaimers start out with basic equipment, upgrading their gear, weapons, and abilities as they level up.
Amongst these include a Zipline launcher traversal tool, the Zhukov NUK17 submachine gun, and plenty of grenades, all ready at a moment’s notice to support Reclaimers as they take on the darkest depths of Hoxxes IV. Making this endeavour more dangerous than ever are new creatures lurking in the shadows, including the horrific Corespawn, Rafkan, and Shatterclaw species, which wait bloodthirsty and primed to attack.
