Physical edition pre-orders for Danganronpa 2×2 are now available via Spike Chunsoft Store and participating retailers, Spike Chunsoft announced. The game is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC via Steam in 2026, with physical editions planned for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Switch.
The physical release will be available in $59.99 / €59.99 standard and $139.99 / €139.99 “Psycho Tropical Vacation Package” editions. The latter includes the following content:
- A copy of the Danganronpa 2×2 game
- Customers can choose one of the following game options: a Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, or PlayStation 5 physical edition, or a printed card with a Steam key
- Danganronpa 2×2 Psycho Tropical Vacation Package (for Steam) is available exclusively via the Spike Chunsoft Official Store
- RSVLTS reversible Psycho Tropical hat
- Kidrobot 3″ Psycho Tropical Monokuma and Monomi figures
- Danganronpa 2×2 original soundtrack

Find the Blackened of the murder case by gathering testimonies and evidence. During the Class Trial where you engage in a debate with your fellow classmates, shoot down your opponent’s contradictions with high-speed detective action. Enjoy the trials fully voiced by renowned actors!
The story unfolds in chapters and each is divided into three main parts:
- Daily Life – Explore Jabberwock Island by walking around freely and interacting with the Ultimate Students. When a murder occurs and a body is discovered, an investigation begins.
- Investigation – You’ll examine the crime scene, talk to other Ultimate Students, and collect evidence needed to solve the case. The evidence you find becomes Truth Bullets for rebutting your classmates’ contradictory statements. Collecting all clues lets you advance to the Class Trial.
- Class Trial – Use the evidence you’ve gathered to find the Blackened—the murder culprit—in the Class Trial. The Ultimate Students will use their unique talents to debate the case from different angles. As statements flow across the screen, shoot down the contradictions with True Bullets to counter them and continue with the trial. Reach the truth of the case through nonstop, high-speed debate!
