SNK has released a new version of 1996-released fighting game Kizuna Encounter: Super Tag Battle for PC via Steam for $19.99 / 2,980 yen as the secodn title in its “NEO GEO Premium Selection“—a selection of NEO GEO titles upgraded with new features for the modern day. It includes rollback netcode with nine-player lobbies, Tournament and Spectator modes, an improved practice mode, and more.

About
A 2D post-apocalyptic fighting game from SNK that first hit arcades in 1996. Characters from SAVAGE REIGN return, this time teaming up for frantic yet strategic two-on-two tag team battles! This updated release boasts rollback netcode for seamless online action, as well as myriad competitive enhancements that heighten the online experience—including lobbies for up to nine players, a spectator mode, and single / double elimination tournaments. You can tag with friends and compete in frenzied four-player matches as well.

10 renegades, two ruthless bosses—one apocalyptic fight for the future!
Eight returnees from the previous installment (Savage Reign) square up with two brand-new fighters: resistance leader Rosa and cane-fighting crusader Kim. You can even take boss characters King Leo and Jyazu into battle (solo member fights only).
