Team Jade announces first-person shooter Project Spectrum for PC

Publisher TiMi Studio Group and Delta Force developer Team Jade have announced Project Spectrum, its next flagship title that blends “tactical, squad-based first-person shooter action and asymmetric combat” with an “immersive, mystery-laden world.” It will be available for PC. A release date was not announced.
“We are incredibly excited to show Project Spectrum to players worldwide, as we have been working in secret for two years,” said Project Spectrum game director Basil Wang in a press release. “With this game, we wanted to create something truly unique: a meticulously crafted and uniquely styled shooter at its core, while presenting a dangerous yet captivating world—one where players embark on an unpredictable survival adventure. As they explore, they’ll encounter unexpected threats and may even become the danger themselves. Our journey has just begun, and we can’t wait to share more in the future.”

In the three-minute trailer, viewers were transported to a tense post-mission debrief, where a senior officer interrogates a shaken squad member about their ill-fated venture into the Ember Zone. What began as a routine operation unraveled almost instantly, culminating in a finale steeped in ominous foreboding. The trailer highlighted playable characters engaging in exploration, intense combat, intricate environmental interactions, and improvised item crafting — offering a glimpse into both the peril and depth awaiting players in Project Spectrum.
Developed for PC using Unreal Engine 5, Project Spectrum casts players into a world in shambles, ravaged by a radiant, reality-warping force known only as the Ember.
Everything it touches—cities, landscapes, even life itself—is transformed in unknowable ways, leaving behind dangerous regions called Ember Zones. Players take the role of an Operator, leading high-risk missions into Ember Zones—recruiting and managing a customizable squad of elite Agents, who they ultimately play as to obtain intelligence, neutralize threats, and uncover the secrets of the Ember.
Every moment in the game is highly dynamic as players face monstrosities created by the Ember, other hostile Agents, and the psychological tolls imposed by the twisted environment. Players must fight back through building and customizing their Agents, utilizing coordinated team synergy, environmental awareness, and creative, improvised item crafting — all while remaining mindful of their Sanity, a crucial resource that depletes easily, and of Executioners roaming the world: powerful beings with unmatched agility and strength controlled by other players.
