Bandai Namco trademarks ‘G Generation Eternal’ in Japan, Square Enix trademarks ‘Relic Strike’ [Update]
New SD Gundam Generation game on the way?
Bandai Namco filed a trademark for “G Gene Eternal” in Japan, or “G Generation Eternal,” on April 21 in Japan.
The trademark is likely for a new title in the SD Gundam G Generation series. The latest entry, SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays, launched for PlayStation 4 and Switch in Japan and Asia, and PC via Steam worldwide on November 28, 2019.
Square Enix also filed a trademark for “Relic Strike” on April 21. Square Enix filed the same trademark in Australia, Canada, and the United States on April 21, and in Europe on April 22.
Update 05/09/22 at 12:58 p.m.: Bandai Namco Entertainment filed trademarks for the full spelling of “G Generation Eternal” in both Japanese and English on April 26 in Japan.
