This Week’s Japanese Game Releases: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, AI: The Somnium Files, more

This week’s Japanese video game releases are highlighted by The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Switch and AI: The Somnium Files for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is a full remake of the 1993-released Game Boy game. As Link, players will explore numerous dungeons filled with tricks, traps, and enemies, meet and interact with other characters, and collect instruments to awaken the Wind Fish and find a way home from Koholint Island.

AI: The Somnium Files is the next adventure game from Zero Escape series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi. Set in near-future Tokyo, it follows detective Kaname Date on the case of a mysterious serial killer, investigating both crime scenes and dreams to track down clues. It also features character design by Yusuke Kozaki of No More Heroes and Fire Emblem fame.
