Astral Chain Nintendo Treehouse: Live E3 2019 gameplay, part two

Introducing the full power of Legions.

Astral Chain

Publisher Nintendo and developer PlatinumGames showcased another 35 minutes of Astral Chain gameplay introducing the power of Legions in combat during the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2019 Day 2 live stream.

Legions are living weapons tethered to humans and used by the Neuron attack force, which the player is a member of, in response to the alien threat attacking the Ark city where the game is set. There are five types of Legions—Sword, Arrow, Beast, Arm, and Axe—each with its own unique appearance and fighting style.

If you missed yesterday’s gameplay, which showcases the ins and outs of combat and investigation, watch it here.

Astral Chain is due out for Switch on August 30.
