The unknown characters—a blond-haired girl and a robot—appear alongside a gathering of known Nippon Ichi Software characters, including those from the Disgaea, Hayarigami, Yomawari, and The Witch and the Hundred Knight series, Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, and Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk.

Famitsu, curious about the unknown characters, called up Nippon Ichi Software to find out more, but their public relations representative said their identies are “a secret,” revealing only that they are new characters that will appear in the future.

In summer 2017, Nippon Ichi Software teased the announcement of Closed Nightmare; in summer 2016, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2; and in summer 2015, Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk.

Nippon Ichi Software celebrated its 25th anniversary on July 12 in Japan (it is currently July 13 there) and plans to host its final celebration event on July 15.
