Weekly Japanese Game Releases

DJMAX Respect, Occultic;Nine, and Sonic Forces are the highlights of this week’s Japanese game releases.

DJMAX Respect is already available in Southeast Asia with English subtitles, but publisher Arc System Works is launching the game in Japan this week in standard and limited editions. First-print copies include a “Guilty Gear Collaboration Song Set.”

Occultic;Nine is the latest visual novel from Steins;Gate and Chaos;Child developer Chiyomaru Studio. It is adapted from the light novel of the same name. The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita versions will also be available a limited edition including a drama CD and visual book.

Sonic Forces is the latest entry in the 3D Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is launching worldwide.

Also new this week, Switch is getting a trio of Warriors games with Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate. PS Vita is getting a new visual novel with Our World is Ended. And PlayStation 4 and PC are getting a Nioh compilation in Nioh: Complete Edition.
