Geoff Keighley announces E3 Coliseum 2017
Two days of panels, conversations, talks, and other surprises.Games journalist Geoff Keighley has announced E3 Coliseum, his initiative this year to “bring E3 to life through two days of panels, conversations, talks, and other surprises.”
According to Keighley, he has been working quietly with “all the major game teams” to curate special presentations that will take place at The Novo at L.A. Live on Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14. “Thousands” of fans will be able to attend live, and the sessions will also be live streamed. Viewers will be able to ask questions to the panelists on Facebook.
Keighley promises presentations from game developers as well as “very special guests from the broader entertainment world,” who will speak about the cultural significance of gaming. “Lots of surprises” are teased.
Publishers confirmed to be hosting “major panels” include Activision, Bethesda Softworks, Gearbox Publishing, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Xbox. More will be announced in the coming weeks, in addition to further information about E3 Coliseum.
E3 2017 runs from June 13 to 15.
