Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3

The latest issue of Weekly Jump has new information on Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3.

The game’s new setting is called “Break World.” It is a world dotted with various, broken-like continents. In addition to futuristic cities not yet seen before in the Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker series, frozen worlds, wastelands, and impressive structures will also appear.

The previously detailed “Ride” system that allows you to ride friendly monsters will evolve as you progress through the game. For example, you’ll be able to continously jump through the sky, perform a preemptive enemy attack on the field, and reach places you couldn’t normally walk to via the sky.

The wearable “Reactor” device that the hero obtains can be used to detect hidden chests and roads of light, and other things not normally visible to the eye.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 is in development for 3DS.
