Call of Duty: Black Ops III Xbox One and PC beta begins August 26

Call of Duty: Black Ops III

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta was previously dated for August 19 on PlayStation 4. It will run through August 23. Today, Activision and Treyarch announced the Xbox One and PC beta will begin three days later on August 26 and run through August 30.

The beta will offer fans the opportunity to try out the game’s new momentum-based, chained movement system and get a feel for the new multiplayer maps.

More details about the Call of Duty: Black Ops III beta’s launch, such as included maps and modes, will be announced in the weeks to come. Access to the beta is guaranteed to consumers who pre-order the game.
