This hasn’t even been announced for any console and you already assume it’ll be PS3. You use your own logic, and then start degrading the “Nintendo fans” for wanting a game on their platform. I suggest you not jumping to any conclusions eh?
P.S. Everything you said about the Nintendo fanboys can be easily said about Sony and Microsoft fans. Though, from what I’ve seen, MS fans seem to be far quieter than their Sony counterparts.

RPGs have the potential to be some of the most ambitious creative projects out of all the game genres in terms of scope and size. A Handheld is limited by it’s inferior technology and battery life to the console.

 I’m sorry but I believe you’re misinterpretating our course of action here. We’re not singling any one out. Please try and understand that we deal with what we see, and not everything one may consider to be flaming or offensive is in reality what we’d consider offensive or inflamatory.

I am not saying whether these users you’re mentioning did anything that deserved our undivided attention or not, I’m just saying that we’re not singling anyone out, even if that’s what you believe that’s happening.

No offense but this website does feel in my opinion Pro-Nintendo. Nobody says anything to holly, Cat Flames, or Skyer Ist when they start to get out of control or like the time I was in the Monster Hunter 3DS article when that Nintendo fan attacked me for saying I wish they would make one for PS Vita and It took you mods about 5 days to say something but as soon as I say fanboy and tell it like it is that Nintendo fans want PlayStation 3rd Party exclusives. It only takes you mods 15 minutes to give me long lectures when you guys should be lecturing Nintendo side of this website.

I can assure you this website is not pro-anything. Well, I lie, we’re actually pro-something. Pro-mature discussions, pro-friendly reasoning and arguments. Now, you’ll have to understand, as I told you before, that we deal with what we see. I honestly welcome you to call out to our attention by flagging innapropriate comments, and wait for us to deal with them accordingly, if it so needs be. Now please, understand that just because others were acting in a chidlike manner, that doesn’t mean you can do it either.

It’s okay to not like Nintendo or Microsoft or whatever. I personally don’t like Microsoft much, and yet, I don’t go about posting snarky remarks about the other comments or trying to claim the superiority of the companies, games or consoles I care for.

That is to say, you’re more than welcome’d to state your feelings or preferences. You can tell others you believe this game will be released on the PS3, and choose to back it up with your personal predicitons or facts, your call. Just please refrain from turning that into an open letter against anyone who disagrees with you, by resorting to name calling. That’s flamebaiting, and we really don’t appreciate that much.

I hope you understand my/our position on this, and I hope you take these words into consideration in the future, should you wish to stay with us as an active part of our community.

How can you hate a Persona protagonist if they don’t even talk?
And besides, there’s games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age where the created character is given personality, and even TALKS. 
That would be ten times better than just a silent protagonist. 

 Well, since it was definitely being developed on PS3 originally, it’d be really odd for them to downport it for the 3DS. And, how are they gonna pull a Persona 5 Viewtiful (or something like that) if they put it on handhelds first!? xD

And I think Atelier Ayesha/Ar tonelico Qoga/Disgaea 3/Disgaea 4 are just a few of the games that are superior to those games you listed.

Anyway, it’s almost guaranteed Persona 5 will be on a console. It being Sony exclusive is doubtful. In Japan it won’t release on the 360 pretty sure. Games that are multiplat on the 360 and PS3 always sell ABYSMALLY on the 360. And it’s definitely not going to be a 360 exclusive, because those just don’t sell well anymore. WiiU is a definite possibility. Heck, I could see a WiiU/PS3 release.

But a handheld release is very doubtful. You just can’t do as much with it. While the SMT series is being pushed to having seriously oldschool design, I don’t think the Persona series would be acceptable for that at this point. Especially with ‘The Golden’ recently released.

Oh, and I’m not saying it couldn’t be 360/PS3 outside of Japan. Just very unlikely that it will be released on the 360 in Japan.

But tbh, I hope it will be a handheld game. I really enjoy playing on my 3DS and Vita and in
the last 6 month I spent most of my time on handhelds. It’s just way more comfortable.

And it’s a lie that RPGs are better suited for consoles. Pokémon and TWEWY shits on every
single console RPG of this generation and nothing can stand against Mega Man Battle Network!!! Also Birth by Sleep is thanks to the superior battle system (and Aqua <3) by far the best Kingdom Hearts to date.

Where…has this been happening? I certainly don’t remember droves of ppl asking for Versus on a Nintendo system in this site…..
