Terrible hardware is a bit of a stretch, dated hardware, sure, but terrible? Nintendo's hardware is usually more sturdy and lasting than either Microsoft or Sony's (this coming from a Sony fan), so while their hardware may not have the best graphics anymore (for the last two gens they had the best graphics with the Cube and the 64), people have shown that its not the console with the best graphics that win the race. Playstation 1, 2, DS, and currently the 3DS have all proven that.

It's like reading an article from 2003. Wow... Nintendo is the best used car sales' person of this century. Am I still going to buy one? Yes, because even though they make terrible hardware they still make good games. And the games will look great until PS4/XboxNext. (And I don't want to hear that CPU/GPU power doesn't affect gameplay because it does -- if it didn't we wouldn't have physics enabled gameplay today and we'd be stuck playing games that are only in two dimensions).
