Tales of Xillia breaks Tales pre-order record

Xillia pre-sales reach series' high.

Namco Bandai previously predicted that Tales of Xillia pre-orders would outdo that of PS3’s Tales of Vesperia. Today, Tales series producer Makoto Yoshizumi has confirmed that Tales of Xillia is the most pre-ordered Tales game ever.

“Good morning everyone,” wrote Yoshizumi on Twitter. “The release date is only two weeks away now. I want to thank you for making this [Tales of Xillia] reach record pre-sale numbers. I want to take part in the pre-release events as much as I can.”

While Yoshizumi did not share numbers, Xillia pre-orders should be over 150,000, considering Vesperia‘s pre-orders were just under the amount. Namco Bandai’s expectations for Tales of Xillia pre-orders was 200,000.
