Backbreaker: Vengeance announced for Xbox LIVE Arcade

The next Backbreaker will be an Xbox LIVE Arcade title. After a tease early yesterday, 505 Games has confirmed the title as an Xbox LIVE Arcade exclusive reminiscent of the “Tackle Alley” iOS games.

It’s dubbed a quick and dirty pick-up-and-play experience featuring “non-stop, hard-hitting arcade action; bone-crunching tackles; and tons of swagger from end-zone to end-zone”. Running on the NaturalMotion engine, which powered the physics side of games like Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption, every tackle is unique and hard-hitting.

It’s out on Xbox LIVE Arcade this summer. Check out the debut trailer below.
