Operation Flashpoint: Red River dev diary highlights evolution

The first developer diary for Codemasters’ Operation Flashpoint: Red River has released today. In the clip, Creative Director Sion Lenton, Lead Artist Mike Smith and Principal Game Designer Tim Browne discuss the franchise’s evolution since the 2009 release of Dragon Rising.

The team talks about the new locale of Tajikistan, new insurgent enemies, improved gun play mechanics, the game’s “immersive” narrative, the new class-based Fireteam and player loadouts and customizations. The clip is also packed with in-game footage.
