First Details on Fallout 3’s The Pitt DLC

The latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine in the United Kingdom has revealed the first details on the upcoming The Pitt downloadable content pack for Fallout 3.

The Pitt takes place in Pittsburgh’s steel-making district, described by OXM as a “stunning dystopia that’s unlike any other area in Fallout 3’s world”.

Pittsburgh will have a large ‘dungeon’ area, an abandoned steel yard, and a settlement divided in two; Downtown, who’s occupants are the slaves, and Haven, occupied by their masters.

The new content will allow players to interact with Raiders for the first time rather than just blow their heads off. One quest will have you play the role as a slave, undercover, looking into rumors that the Raider boss has found a cure for mutation.

The Pitt also promises unique items, such as the Auto Axe, and sidequests, and will release in March.
