Alpha Protocol Will Feature Sex Scenes, ‘Ladies Man’ Achievement

Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming Alpha Protocol will let you choose your dialogue such as BioWare’s Mass Effect did. The dialogue affects more than Michael Thorton’s missions though. Using it correctly can help Michael pick up ladies.

Senior Producer Ryan Rucinski stated that there are “a lot of love interests” for Thorton to jump at. The game features faction in which Thorton can ally with or fight against, so he will meet plenty of women whom he can get assistance from. If you date other girls however, they will get mad.

“It all depends on how you treat them,” Rucinski said. If you have a strong relationship with female characters, they may help with missions. However, he told me that some of them are “bats–t insane” and can get you into trouble. “One may ask you to assassinate a high-level person,” he added. “Maybe that’s not something you want to do, but she’s really hot. But there are obvious repercussions.”

He also hinted at the game having at least one dating mission. Hooking up with women isn’t really a necessary thing to do in the game, although there will be an achievement for being a ladies man.

He did mention it is possible to hook up and have sex with all the game’s women, with sex scenes being similar to that of Mass Effect. For those worried about an Adult Only rating, he assured us: “It’s a mature game, it’s not [adults only].” It will be releasing next year on the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, and PC.
