Yuma Nest
Yuma Nest, formerly Luma Nest and Nether Garden, is a side-scrolling open-world action role-playing video game developed and published by Piokou.
About
An open-ended, open-world 2D side-scroller RPG with a dual-form world design. Train, hunt, and build automated monster-killing systems in the overworld to prepare yourself for the interconnected underworld!
Key Features
- Overworld – The overworld is an exciting sandboxy region where you can train, build, and upgrade your equipment, exploring vibrant towns and markets along the way. The day / night system conducts the flow of gameplay here, but is non-restrictive!
- Nether – The Nether is the underworld, which presents a greater challenge. Delve deep into this twisting, interconnected Metroidvania-like region full of secrets.
- Train – Obtain a simulation training computer and place it in any room. Enemies will now respawn continuously—kill them to level up your computer, allowing you to adjust certain map attributes to your liking!
- Build – Automate your training room by building structures. Set your simulation computer to “farm” mode and it will farm for you! You can even leave the room and the system will continue working!
- Player Enhancements – Check your world map for locations of powerful monsters. Defeat them to unlock special player enhancements. Enhancements interact in predictable ways, so combine and strategize based on your current objective.
- Yumanite Association – Work up the ranks of the Yumanite Association as you aid them in protecting the world from monsters.
- Become a Yumanite! – Start as a regular student and train to become a Yumanite! Yuma Nest has three planned classes, with one currently in development—an all-rounder, generalist yoyo-wielder.
- Character Customization – Play as your own character—customize your hair, face, and clothing with both functional and cosmetic equipment!
- Lively Characters – Meet reactive characters along your adventure that respond to your actions and the state of the world! Much of the dialogue is passive, to give you as much freedom to play how you want, and not interrupt your personal objectives.
