There’s Something Wrong with the Hero’s Choices, the winner of the PLAYISM award in the Niconico Indies Game Fest 2020 with a free game version released on May 2, 2025, is a text-based adventure game featuring a party of heroes on a journey to slay the Dark Lord, but something about the hero’s dialogue choices is off… And now, it’s coming to Steam in 2026!

The Steam version is enhanced from the free version, with new episodes and additional English and Korean language support. Journey in the world of There’s Something Wrong with the Hero’s Choices in English for the very first time!

With over 2,000 event illustrations and over 30 endings, you’ll have to explore your (weird) options to reach the best ending!

Story

In a faraway kingdom under a crimson moon…

A party of heroes is ordered by the king to slay the Dark Lord.

Faced with treacherous terrain and ferocious lackeys of the Dark Lord, the hero is forced to make decisions at every turn to ensure a safe journey. Can the party reach the Dark Lord and complete their mission?
