Species: Unknown is a first-person cooperative shooter for one to four players, set in a horrific atmosphere. At the end of the 21st century, you and your teammates are sent on a mission aboard a ravaged spaceship. You will need to identify, track, and survive a terrifying threat through strategic collaboration with your teammates and the tools at your disposal.

• Team Up – Collaborate with your teammates on different missions with varying difficulty levels, and objectives that can change depending on the map and the creature.
• Track – Examine the evidence found on the ship to identify the creature you’re facing and figure out how to eliminate it. Solve puzzles and find the weapon that will help you during the boss fight.
• Survive – Survive at all costs. Use the environment to your advantage and make use of tools like the motion detector, shield, or mini-map to navigate the ship without getting killed. Adopt the right group strategy to eradicate or capture the creatures.
• Repeat – Expand your list of kills and earn credits that you can use to customize your equipment, allowing you to face the fiercest creatures.
