World War and the Emergence of Nexters: The Birth of Unite and the Superpowered Individuals

The World War, triggered by the invasion of surrounding countries by a powerful hegemonic nation called Solarus, was reversed by the intervention of the Flarica Republic and its allied nations. Eventually, Solarus agreed to stop the war by using nuclear weapons to defend its territory against the invading forces.

Afterward, the supranational united government called U.N.I.T.E was established to prevent global conflicts permanently and promote human development and peace. Reconstruction of destroyed cities and economic revitalization began, and Jamie of Chronax supplied a massive amount of material to remove pollution from nuclear and chemical weapons, solidifying their position and transforming Chronax into a global corporation.

One day, a video of a superpowered individual posted on social media caught the attention of the UNITE government, unlike most people who did not take it seriously. They realized the superpowered individuals were real and resumed the superpower project that the former Flarica secret intelligence agency had conducted, designating Chronax Corporation as a partner company.

Dr. Lim, under Chronax, proved that using the fallen celestial fragments and the L particles within them was the key to superpowers during the research process. At the end of the study, superpowered individuals were officially announced to the world, and they were called Nexters, meaning a new kind of human.

U.N.I.T.E City

Unite City is the administrative capital of U.N.I.T.E, a unified world government formed for global peacekeeping, human development, and freedom after the conclusion of the “Third World War.”

After the war that engulfed the entire world came to an end, under the leadership of Plarica, a global consensus was reached to eliminate war and establish a world government called U.N.I.T.E (United Nations for International Tranquility and Enrichment) for the sake of OTBALL permanent peace and human survival.

As a unified world government, U.N.I.T.E proclaimed political neutrality to avoid discrimination between regions, and it was decided to build a completely new administrative capital from scratch for this purpose.

However, due to the influence of Plarica, which led the establishment of U.N.I.T.E, the city was built in a location close to Plarica.

Under Science

After the Grand Impact, the New Freedom Alliance was subjected to a nuclear attack by Elysium.

The war was forcibly ended after the occurrence of the toxic boundary line, but the surface of the Earth was devastated due to the nuclear attack. Survivors dug deep beneath the contaminated surface to escape the radiation.

In particular, survivors of the New Freedom Alliance gathered in the massive nuclear shelter built by Plarica during the great war.

As the surface became polluted, those who now lived underground called themselves Subterraneans.

They built their own technological system based on the massive nuclear shelter they inhabited, expanding from its center.

• Kay Anderson – Gauntlet. SUBJECT PC-001 has been confirmed to possess the ability to manipulate earth. While the classification of “earth” may vary among individuals, in this case, the ability encompasses all types of rocks, sand, stones, and anything else perceived as ground by the test subject.
• Queenz Ray – Blunet weapon. SUBJECT PC-003 has been confirmed to possess the ability to manipulate elecricity. The test subject can generate, shape, and control electricity, a form of energy that occurs due to the movement of charged particles. Owing to the knowledge of electricity, which is closely encountered in modern society, this ability is also possessed by a significant number of Nexsters.

SUBJECT PC-002 has been confirmed to possess the ability to manipulate a space called the “A-Space.” The A-Space is identified as a unique space that is bound exclusively to Hera, and currently, it is assumed that the only one able to access the A-Space is the test subject themselves, the user.
• Ji Soda – Sword. SUBJECT PC-004 has been confirmed to possess the ability to manipulate blood. It is speculated that the test subject’s manifestation of this ability is not based on a specific trauma, but rather on their strong will and desire for their own aspirations.
• Castellano – Staff. SUBJECT PC-005 has been confirmed to possess the ability to manipulate shadows.
