Story
Even in death, Kugayama Shiori takes her own life.
Maybe her next will finally be her last.
But no matter how many times she dies, her soul refuses to leave this world.
Maybe the answer lies in her lost memories.
Maybe there’s a lingering attachment she’s forgotten.
Other than her name, she remembers nothing.
Who was she?
Why did she die?
Together with you—the only living person who can still speak to her—.
Shiori begins her search for her memories, and for the truth behind her death.
Characters
- Kugayama Shiori (voiced by Nao Ojika) – A ghost girl (presumably a high schooler) who’s missing all her memories except for her name. She wants to pass on, but it just doesn’t work out, so she keeps casually killing herself, hoping the next death will finally be her last. Perhaps she’s simply forgotten something, an attachment that still keeps her here. She teams up with “you,” whom she meets by chance, to investigate incidents and accidents involving women, recreating their deaths in hopes of reclaiming her past.
- Gyaruko-san (voiced by Mayuko Kazama) – A ghost girl (presumably a high schooler). A natural at conversation, she has an unusually wide circle of ghostly acquaintances. Unlike Shiori, she doesn’t seem too concerned about the past-or passing on. Instead, she spends her afterlife roaming around town and chatting with fellow ghosts, enjoying her days in carefree leisure.
- Ms. Librarian (voiced by Yuka Terasaki) – A female ghost who’s always in the library She’s lingered in this world for quite some time, which has made her very knowledgeable about the dead. Her expertise often helps Shiori and her buddy. Unlike Shiori and the other ghosts, she still has her memories from when she was alive. She seems to have some major regret binding her here, but she rarely talks about herself.
