About
InCyanSpace follows the story of Li, an artificial human, who sets out to find his long-lost original human brother Yuan. Together with surviving New Humans, they stand against Xystem, a dominant force of mechanical lifeforms that controls the surface world.
Human civilization hit an unbreakable evolutionary bottleneck, splitting flesh-and-blood humanity into two opposing factions:
One group uses machinery to assist daily life while clinging to their humanity, calling themselves the New Humans.
The other pursues full mechanical ascension, merging their bodies and consciousness with machinery to abandon human nature entirely—they named themselves Xystem.
Xystem views the New Humans, who retain their humanity, as a barrier holding back humanity’s evolution. The irreconcilable conflict ignited a brutal, devastating war.
The New Humans suffered crushing defeat and were forced to retreat into underground shelters, leaving the entire surface under Xystem’s control. Decades later, our story begins…
