Like the PlayStation platform itself\, this year will mark the 30th anniversary of the event\, as well as introduce a new “PlayStation Generations Awards” category. The ceremony itself will not be live streamed. \nThe award categories are as follows: \nGrand Award \nAwarded to the top three titles developed in the Japan / Asian regions with highest worldwide sales between October 1\, 2023 and September 30\, 2024. \nPartner Award \nAwarded to titles developed in the Japan / Asia region with top-ranked worldwide sales between October 1\, 2023 and September 30\, 2024\, with particularly noteworthy activity results. \nExcellence Award \nAwarded to titles that win the Grand Award for three consecutive years. \nSpecial Award \nAwarded to titles with particularly noteworthy activity results. \nUsers’ Choice Award \nAwarded to the top titles chosen by users in the Japan / Asia regions.
