Anime Expo 2026 will run from July 2 to 5 at Los Angeles Convention Center.

July 2

• 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – WayForward Anime Game Developer Panel – Game developers WayForward return to Anime Expo to showcase their latest anime-inspired video games with new trailers, behind-the-scenes, Q&A with game directors, prizes, and exclusive reveals!
• 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. – Bandai Namco Presents: Echoes from Aincrad – An Unanswered//butterfly U.S. First Look Preview – Risk reality and join producer Yosuke Futami, along with special guests, as he welcomes players to Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online, the latest game in the Sword Art Online franchise. Attendees will receive exclusive giveaways and be among the first to see a teaser for the new anime, Unanswered//butterfly.
• 1:30 pm. to 2:20 p.m. – The Tale of .hack//Z.E.R.O.: from Licensed IP to Unprecedented Self-Publishing – From its various studios in Japan, CyberConnect2 has developed licensed titles such as the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, as well as self-published titles including the Fuga: Melodies of Steel series. CyberConnect2 celebrated its 30th anniversary on February 16, 2026. This panel will look back on CyberConnect2’s 30-year long history, dive deeply into the company’s intellectual property strategy, and share why they have decided to take on this latest challenge. Featuring CyberConnect2 executive vice president Taichiro Miyazaki​.
• 2:30 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. – Aniplex of America Industry Panel – Join Aniplex of America as we celebrate our past, present, and future of anime and games with our brand new Industry Panel! Come experience the excitement, community, and nostalgia with us on a grander stage!

July 3

• 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – Aksys Games Anime Expo 2026 Panel – This year’s panel promises a look at what’s coming next from Aksys—new Japanese titles, exciting updates, and maybe a surprise or two you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Aksys for the first time, pull up a seat and join us for an inside look at what we’ve been working on.
• 10:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. – Spike Chunsoft, Inc. Official Panel 2026 – Come celebrate Danganronpa‘s 15th anniversary and pre-launch of STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT! Danganronpa producer Shohei Sakakibara, Kazutaka Kodaka, and English voice actors join us as guests. There will be STEINS;GATE quiz, live voice actor performance, giveaways, and more! There might be a sneak peek of Danganronpa 2×2…!?
• 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. – STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Special Panel featuring Yugo Kanno – Celebrate the highly anticipated STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure with a special panel featuring acclaimed composer Yugo Kanno, Daman Mills and Kaiji Tang! Experience a special live performance, plus a conversation with the guests you won’t want to miss. (Editor’s Note: This panel is included in our games-relevant schedule due to the recent rating of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven R in Brazil.)
• 3:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. – HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! Fan Meeting – The hit rhythm game HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! comes to Anime Expo for a special one-day fan meeting! Featuring Daisuke Hirose (voice of Tsukasa Tenma) and Machico (voice of Nene Kusanagi). Enjoy talk shows, music, and more. Don’t miss it!
• 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. – Sonic the Hedgehog Animated Shorts: A Frame-by-Frame Retrospective – Peek into the world of SEGA‘s short-form animation as we celebrate 35 years of Sonic the Hedgehog. Join Sonic creative director Takashi Iizuka, Austin Keys, and Jasmin Hernandez, with special guests Tyson Hesse, Evan Stanley, and Alan Wan as well as moderator Aaron Webber to discuss their creative processes. Attendees at the panel will receive on a first-come-first served basis a Sonic 35th anniversary collage poster created by Iizuka-san’s art team. The poster features a collage of many characters from classic and modern eras of the Sonic franchise in celebration of 35 years.
• 7:30 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. – Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 – Welcome Back to Night City! – Get ready for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2! This brand-new, standalone story will show an even more brutal, raw, and painfully human side of Night City, so join us live to hear directly from voice actors and creators of the series, and brace yourself for what’s to come.
• 7:45 p.m. to 9:05 p.m. – The Present and Future of 2D Animated Games and The Making of Chaos Zero Nightmare – Eight months per character. Quality without compromise. The untold story of Chaos Zero Nightmare‘s developer, Super Creative. Join Hyung-seok Kim, director of CZN and Epic Seven, as he shares an honest behind-the-scenes look at the values that those who love animation refuse to give up on.
• 9:30 p.m. to 10:20 p.m. – MangaGamer: The Now & Future of Visual Novel (18+) – Join Mangagamer, the largest localizer of Visual Novels, as we discuss the newest games we’re bringing to fans worldwide and showcase the steamy appeal of this growing medium. Our staff will also be presenting our newest license announcements, and answer questions from the audience if time permits.

July 4

• 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. – Arc System Works Developer Table Talk – Join Arc System Works at Anime Expo! Hear updates and developer insights on Guilty Gear: Strive with producer Ken Miyauchi, Demons’ Night Fever with producer Sohei Niikawa, and a new unannounced anime-style title with game designer and director Satoshi Hirayae. Free swag while supplies last!
• 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. – Riot Games: Bringing Teamfight Tactics to Life! – Join us for a special behind-the-scenes look at how the team delivers each Set, including the creative process from concept to live gameplay, and how the team prepares for future Sets. We will also have a dedicated Q&A to get to know our panelists!
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. – ATLUS Presents: Persona 4 Revival Panel – Join ATLUS developers Kazuhisa Wada, Shigenori Soejima, Atsushi Nomura, and Yoshiyuki Asai for a special look at Persona 4 Revival. In this panel, the team behind the beloved franchise will share never-before-seen content and information live at Anime Expo. Be sure to tune in or join us in person!
