Rhythm game Gekisou! BAND STAR will launch for Switch on December 11 in Japan for 6,380 yen, publisher MAGES> and developer Digital Works Entertainment announced.

All songs will be playable in “Solo Mode” or “Multi Mode.” In Solo Mode, you can choose from guitar, boss, keyboard, or drums, and play offline with the difficulty of your choosing. The remaining instruments will be played by the CPU, allowing you to enjoy a full band session even when playing alone. In Multi Mode, up to four players can play together either locally or online, with each player requiring a system and copy of the game when played locally.
Additionally, with “Arrange Mode,” you can create 120,000 different song arrangements with simple controls, as well as adjust the note difficulty during gameplay. “Easy Arrange” mode allows you to easily create arrangements by selecting options like genre, tempo, and difficulty, while more detailed customization allows you to change individual note patterns, tones, and effect settings.
The game also features unlockable rewards and achievements, including playable songs, and customizations for band members and the lobby screen background. There are over 200 items to unlock, including outfits, hairstyles, hats, instruments, accessories, and lobby backgrounds.
