INDIE Live Expo set for December 7

INDIE Waves submissions open in mid September.

Ryu’s Office will host the next INDIE Live Expo event on December 7 alongside the annual INDIE Live Expo Awards, the company announced.

Game submissions for the program’s INDIE Waves segment will open in mid September, with participants encouraged to prepare 15-second game introduction videos for entry.

“It is both an honor and a pleasure to receive the hundreds of titles vying for a spot in our showcase every year,” said Ryu’s Office founder and CEO Ryuta Konuma in a press release. “We are grateful for the long-time support from our viewers, supporters, sponsors, and media partners, and wanted to shout out to those amazing game developers bringing their hard work to INDIE Live Expo.”

The last INDIE Live Expo broadcast aired on May 25 and garnered 7.4 million views across its English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese simulcasts. Since its debut in 2020, the INDIE Live Expo programs have highlighted more than 2,750 indie games and accumulated 100 million viewers.
