Fairytale RPG Stray Children will launch for Switch via Nintendo eShop on December 26 in Japan, developer Onion Games announced.
As for the rest of the world, Onion Games shared the following message: “Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer: the English release is still being prepared, and, for now, we don’t have any more information on when that will be released. But the fact that the Japanese release actually has a date means the English release is that much closer as well!”
Here is an overview of the game, via Onion Games:
Stray Children is a bittersweet fairytale RPG, created by many of the same people behind some of your favorite cult-classics like Chulip, Little King’s Story, Rule of Rose, Super Mario RPG, and, of course, moon, the game we re-released in English in 2021.
The story of Stray Children begins like so:
One day, a young boy is sucked into a TV set and awakens to find himself in a land made up entirely of children.
So begins the boy’s adventures in this strange and dangerous wonderland.
