The final batch of character screenshots.

Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms

Idea Factory International has released a new set of screenshots for Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms introducing characters Kazue Souma and Ryouma Sakamoto.

Here is an overview of each:

Kazue Souma

Kazue Souma is a young samurai, formerly from the Choshu Domain, who joined the Shinsengumi and serves as Kondou’s Page. Thoughtful and solemn, Souma is one of the few members of the Shinsengumi who sticks with its moral code, even after repeated defeats the Shinsengumi suffers overtime. Like many of the bachelors in Edo Blossoms, Souma has an overwhelming desire to keep Chizuru safe and considers her his senpai. In Edo Blossoms, Chizuru, Souma and Souma’s friend, Risaburo Nomura, venture off to catch up with the Shinsengumi and join the fight against imperial forces.

Ryouma Sakamoto

Ryouma Sakamoto comes from Tosa, a rural region in Japan. He fully embraces western influences and shows his love of the western world through his weapon of choice – a pistol. In his adventures in Edo Blossoms, Sakamoto spends his time with Chizuru in hopes to put an end to the curse of Furies. Both Chizuru and Sakamoto share the sentiment that ending the curse of Furies will lead Japan to a peaceful future.

Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms is due out for PS Vita on March 13 in North America and March 16 in Europe, and for PC on March 13 worldwide.
