#8: Fire Emblem Fates (3DS)

Fire Emblem Fates

With the game launching today in North America, fans can now play the next Fire Emblem. I’ve always been a fan, but I’ll admit I’m kind of behind on the series. So, I have to ask the big question: Hoshido or Nohr? Which side will you choose? Let me know in the comments below.

Pekola (Gematsu Community Mod): “When I was young, I discovered Fire Emblem and it was… an experience. I had never played a game like it before. So I guess you could say it’s nostalgia. But I also love the concept of having different units I can grow and can even pair them up together as couples. It’s literally love and war mixed together in such a satisfying package. Fates kind of cranks these elements up to eleven. And it’s probably packed with so much content now that we have three different paths… I can see myself getting lost in the game, trying to optimize my units and occasionally resetting to save that one unit I lost due to a little mistake. It’s a super immersive game full of neat characters and engaging gameplay. Also… the Husbandos… Yes, I want them all!”
