PopoloCrois Farm Story detailed for 3DS

Till the land with Pietro and company.

PoPoLoCrois Farm Story

Coinciding with this year’s Tokyo Game Show opening up to the press, Marvelous has opened up about the previously announced PopoloCrois Farm Story for the 3DS, a crossover between PoPoLoCrois‘ traditional RPG mechanics and the farming gameplay of what was formerly known overseas as Harvest Moon, now going by Story of Seasons.

The story of PopoloCrois Farm Story takes place across PopoloCrois Kingdom, as well as a new location by the name of Galariland, kicking off with a birthday party held in honor of PopoloCrois series protagonist Pietro. During this party, a diplomat from Galariland by the name of Marmela comes to inform Pietro about a dark beast that threatens the safety of the world and how to go about stopping it. Thus, Pietro and company set out to save the day again.

As one can expect based on the name, a lot of familiar faces from the PopoloCrois franchise are set to appear in this new game as well. In addition to Pietro, Narcia, White Knight, and the GamiGami Devil have all been shown as taking part in the story. Details on the farming gameplay remain scarce, save for the fact that crops can be grown as a means of accruing money and that animal raising is also once again present.

Development is once again being handled by Japanese studio epics. No release date has been announced as of this writing.
